photo-2I don’t know about you but when it comes to nursing my little one she can be very impatient waiting for me to get situated especially when out in public. Searching through my bag to find my wrinkled cover at the bottom and trying to get it on with one hand as my little one clings at my shirt can be an overwhelming event. When I received my Pashmama by Jolly Jumper I was looking forward to testing it out with her.
The first thing I noticed was the size, it wasn’t overly huge and I did not feel any parts of me would be seen while nursing. The material was soft and the grey was a nice neutral color that would go with anything I was wearing.

Personally I am not shy when it comes to breastfeeding. If my baby is hungry and in a pinch for time I have no issues feeding her in public even if I don’t have my cover. I do however understand it can make others around me uncomfortable so having a scarf like the Pashmama on hand to use in those situations is great.
This would really come in handy for mamas who have newborns and younger babies who are nursing every two hours and would make a great gift for a new or expectant mom.

My baby is at a stage now where a nursing session doesn’t last longer then 5 minutes and she is easily distracted. When I used the scarf she really enjoyed playing peek-a-boo with it and I found I had to really hold it in place as she could easily move it around. My little one is not used to a nursing cover so she wasn’t a huge fan of it while eating.

As mentioned earlier I think the Pashmama would be a better fit for a younger baby who is not yet easily distracted during nursing sessions. It also comes with a bracelet to help mom remember which side she nursed on last. The fact that the Pashmama is stylish, comfortable, and easy to use is a huge plus when choosing this as your cover. There are different colors to choose from and it can even be worn after your done nursing!
