Whether you just had a baby or are 15 months Post-Partum being a mom can be so exhausting! Between the night waking’s, early risers, packed schedules, working, house duties, (and the list goes on) it can be a challenge to keep up our energy. This is something I struggle with on a daily basis.

I received the Now for Mothers Healing Mix about a month ago. I was excited to try it because my energy levels have been at a low lately and anything claiming to help with that amongst other benefits is something I am willing to try. The mix includes some great organic and natural ingredients including Flax, natural Butter, Oats, Wheat Flour, Brown Sugar, Almonds, Raisons, Walnuts, Pistachios, Pine Nuts, Honey, Melon Seeds, and Cinnamon. Sounds delicious right? Well it is! It has a sweet, nutty, and crunchy taste to it. They suggest putting it on top of yogurt or your morning cereal or oatmeal. You can even mix it into some warm milk, which I did and it was a really nice mixture – sort of like an oatmeal texture but not too thick. I also added it into my morning smoothies and it added some more sweetness to it.

The packaging recommends one scoop a day to get the full benefits of the mix. Benefits include sustaining daily energy levels, renewing mental clarity and focus and nurturing emotional and physical wellness. We all could use a little more stability in those areas right? I know I could.

The Healing Mix is not only for new moms but can be used up to 6 years Post pregnancy! It also is safe and has some great benefits for nursing mothers as it can improve lactation. It contains some great sources such as Omega’s 3 and 6, Iron, and Potassium.

Since trying the mix for over the last month I have seen a couple things improve. Firstly it’s encouraged me to eat a little better on a daily basis, having things like oatmeal and smoothies were never a habit for me and I’ve now been able to incorporate these into my daily life.  I’ve started to feel a little more energized especially in the mornings and I’m sure my girls would agree.

I do think that my time trying the Healing Mix has been short and would assume the results would have a greater outcome for someone on the mix for a longer period of time.

This would be a fantastic gift for a new mom, especially one who is breastfeeding. The price point is a little steep but with the organic and natural ingredients as well as its benefits I think it would be worth the $30. I approve the Now for Mothers Healing Mix.
