I visited the Rocky Crest Resort in September 2016 while on my first holiday to Canada. It has to be one of my most memorable times ever. My first impression was, “Wow what beautiful nature Canada has!”

On arrival to Rocky Crest resort, after a long drive, we headed off to the lake until check in time. As we made our way around the resort there were buckets of ice cold drinks available for guests where we grabbed a cold drink, and headed off to the lake for a picnic lunch.

The lake was so serene and tranquil, it was bliss. Not a sound to be heard other than Mother Nature!

Don’t get me wrong, this is the part of the resort we decided was OUR favourite as adults and not kids, but for those of you that have kids, check this out, a water park on the water!

We were having a blast and it was a hit with the kids!

Something for everyone, fine dining with the most amazing menu and beautiful presentation, casual dining, and even a lakeside bistro with a breath taking view of the lake.

Our room was very spacious and over looked the lake. We had a little balcony and sat out every night with a glass of wine before dinner, and every morning with coffee before breakfast! It had everything we needed, toaster, utensils, kettle, fridge, and fresh clean linens.

For those chill nights up north there is also a log fire in the rooms with logs, unless of course you feel like venturing out and making s’mores with the Rocky Crest Team around the big fire pit!  The resort organizes activities day and night.

The nature trails are a must to hike through. The trails show Mother Nature unspoiled ( it is all signposted so you cannot possibly get lost). We came across birds with spectacular colours and lots of adorable chipmunks!  But, by far, the highlight of my vacation was spotting a baby brown bear!

The scenery, the staff, the facilities, everything about it was beyond all expectations. I cannot recommend Rocky Crest Resort enough. I will definably be booking again on my next visit to Canada.

Thank you Rocky Crest for helping make my stay in Canada even more memorable!
